About Alan Goldfarb
For more than 30 years, Alan Goldfarb, P.A. has helped his clients achieve more than $250 million in verdicts and settlements for a great variety of catastrophic injury cases. More than 250 clients have been successfully represented by Mr. Goldfarb, who sees each individual as far more than simply a client. It is this unparalleled combination of compassion and expertise that has made Mr. Goldfarb one of South Florida’s most renowned civil litigation trial attorneys.
With degrees from Clemson University and the University of Miami Law School, Mr. Goldfarb has been consistently recognized by his peers and legal associations as part of an elite class of attorneys. He has been awarded such prestigious honors as status among the “Top Lawyers in South Florida”, a member of the Legal Elite, a member of the Million Dollar Advocates, recipient of the Trial Lawyers Care Volunteer Award for his work representing 9/11 victims, and an EAGLE Legion Award from the Florida Justice Academy.
Most recently, Mr. Goldfarb procured an $8.8 million verdict in favor of the family of a wife and mother who was killed in an automobile accident caused by a 17-year old driver who was both speeding and texting at the time of the accident. The landmark decision has been instrumental in further displaying the dangers of distracted driving and, more specifically, texting while driving in Florida and throughout the United States. More than 5,000 people are killed annually as a result of distracted driving and automobile accidents, while sufficient laws that would protect drivers and passengers are still lacking.
Alan Goldfarb is currently a member of the Dade County Bar Association, American Bar Association, Florida Justice Association, American Association for Justice, Academy of Florida trial Lawyers, and he is a founding member of the American Board of Trial Advocates. He is also substantially active within a number of charities and volunteer organizations throughout the South Florida community.
